Job description

About TheyDo

We’re TheyDo, a fully remote B2B SaaS organisation. Founded in 2019, we are the leading journey management platform, on a mission to make the customer journey the most powerful business tool there is.

In March 2024 we announced our latest funding round worth $34 million. Combined with our Series A raise in 2022 it takes our total investment to just under $50 million. Our angel investors include executives from Intercom, Miro, OpenAI, Amplitude, Slack, Airtable and more.

We support and partner with renowned enterprise organizations such as Cisco, Ford, Johnson & Johnson, Home Depot and Polestar, helping them manage their complex journeys and optimize them for efficient growth, removing the need for constant transformation.

We kicked off 2025 with a global team of 80 TheyDoers, representing over 30 nationalities across 20 countries.

This is just the beginning. Join our exciting journey as we make the Customer Journey the most powerful business tool there is

We are now looking for a dynamic BDR Leader to take our global BDR organisation to the next level. This is a pivotal role where you’ll lead and scale a team of Business Development Representatives across the globe, while also rolling up your sleeves to generate pipeline and drive revenue.

The Role

As our BDR Player-Coach, you will:

  • Lead & develop a high-performing global BDR team focused on outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and sales acceleration.

  • Coach & train BDRs to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and objection handling.

  • Drive Outbound Excellence by optimising multi-channel outbound outreach, cold calling, email sequences, and LinkedIn engagement.

  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute and align outbound campaigns with key GTM initiatives.

  • Grow the team by recruiting and onboarding new BDRs, initially focusing on the US market.

  • Own pipeline growth by managing outbound sales KPIs, conversion metrics, and continuous process improvements.

Player Role:

  • Initially work directly on outbound activities and carry 1-2 Account Executive (AE) accounts while the team expands.

  • Mature the BDR organisation by implementing scalable best practices, refining ICP (Ideal Customer Profile) targeting, and introducing new prospecting tools/techniques.

  • Collaborate across teams with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Operations to drive efficiency and impact.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of B2B SaaS experience, with at least 1+ years in a BDR leadership role.

  • Proven track record of building, leading, and scaling high-performing outbound BDR teams.

  • Strong outbound expertise, including cold calling, email sequencing, and LinkedIn prospecting.

  • Experience partnering with marketing to develop integrated outbound campaigns.

  • Hands-on experience using sales engagement platforms (e.g., Outreach, Salesforce, Cognism, HubSpot, or similar).

  • Exceptional coaching, training, and team development skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and global environment.

  • Strong data-driven mindset with experience tracking BDR performance metrics.

  • Prior experience carrying a quota and working closely with Account Executives.

Why Join TheyDo?

  • Be a key player in shaping our global outbound strategy and BDR function.

  • Join a fast-growing SaaS company that’s pioneering a new space in Customer Experience.

  • Global Impact - work with teams across multiple regions and help build a world-class revenue engine.

  • Career Growth - opportunity to grow into a Director-level role as the team scales.
