Position overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated and versatile Business Analyst to join our team. This is a keyrole for someone who is passionate about driving operational excellence while embedding sustainability into the business. We are seeking a hands-on, independent professional with a consulting mindset, who thrives on solving complex problems and takes full ownership of projects from start to finish.

What will this person do:

  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs across various business areas.
  • Manage the collection, validation, and analysis of business performance data, including non-financial metrics, to support internal decision-making and external reporting requirements (e.g., ESG or impact-related reporting).
  • Conduct detailed data analysis to uncover trends, inefficiencies, and growth opportunities, providing clear, actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain analytical models and tools to evaluate business cases, support scenario planning, and monitor the outcomes of strategic initiatives.
  • Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational and strategic success, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Deliver concise and visually compelling reports and presentations that effectively communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to leadership teams.
  • Drive multiple projects simultaneously with a hands-on, proactive approach, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant reporting frameworks and stay informed about emerging trends and regulatory developments, especially in the ESG space.
  • Take ownership of assigned initiatives, demonstrating autonomy, accountability, and strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Evaluate and enhance business processes—including procurement and other core workflows—to ensure they are efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational best practices.

Requirements:

  • Strong consulting background
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven and structured mindset
  • High level of ownership and reliability, with a proven track record of driving initiatives end-to-end
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with senior leadership
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment
  • Hands-on, can-do attitude with a strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel Skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g., French, German, Swedish, Norwegian, or Portuguese) are highly valued
