Substance is seeking an enthusiastic SMB Business Development Manager to join our client dynamic team. This role is essential for driving growth in our small and medium business (SMB) segment, where you will play a key role in expanding our market reach and building lasting relationships with clients.
As an SMB Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to create strategies tailored to the unique needs of SMBs, ensuring that they see the value of our offerings.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement targeted business development strategies to attract and retain SMB clients.
Identify new business opportunities through networking, market research, and relationship building.
Engage with potential clients to understand their needs and how our solutions can address them.
Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Collaborate with internal teams to align marketing and sales efforts with the needs of SMBs.
Prepare proposals and presentations tailored to SMB clients.
Monitor market trends and competitive activities to refine strategies and identify new opportunities.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in the technology or services sector.
Strong understanding of the SMB market and the unique challenges faced by small and medium businesses.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and client needs.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
