Summary
The job is for a Business Operations Intern at BeeX, a deep-tech startup that builds advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). The intern will work with the business and operations teams to support various aspects of the company's operations, including revenue generation, project execution, talent acquisition, and more. The role is open from August 2024 onwards.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business - Operations, or related field
Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Team to ensure smooth revenue generation, through pre and post-project support to our customers
- Support the Operations Team by creating and improving documentation, such as Risk Assessments + Method Statements
- Assist with Project Execution, through allocating of internal resources and management of external vendors
- Source for new vendors as the business requires
- Support and potentially lead initiatives to improve operational excellence, from ideation to rollout
- Assist with Talent Acquisition, by leading key activities focused on company branding to prospective hires, e.g. career fairs, showcases, talks
- Engage with prospective hires; from hire to onboarding / documentation, including job postings and scheduling interviews and references
- Build relationships with our talent pipeline partners e.g. IHLs, government support/grant agencies
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-directed learner, able to work independently and as part of a team
