Job description
ENDVR is looking for a CFO to join our leadership team and play a critical role in shaping our financial future as we prepare to scale. Reporting to the CEO and Co-founder Steve Gendron, the CFO will be responsible for planning and tracking the team’s financial strategy to achieve sustainable growth in a recurring revenue model.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has previously helped an early-stage, high-growth company successfully build and scale their financial strategy and operations.
What You’ll Do
- Financial and Operational Leadership
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, tax planning, and treasury management for a SaaS business model
- Collaborate with the leadership team to craft a data-driven metrics dashboard that measures key performance indicators (KPIs), including MRR, ARR, CAC, churn, and gross margin
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s overall business goals and scalable subscription-based revenue
- Partner with the CEO, leadership team, board, and investors to optimize resource allocation and ensure alignment on strategic decisions to drive sustainable growth
- Secure funding through venture capital, debt financing, or other means to support scaling and product development
- Identify and implement process improvements that ensure efficient, automated, and scalable financial operations tailored to our environment
- Contribute to building a strong company culture with a focus on transparency, accountability, and performance
Financial Reporting
- Implement and maintain robust financial reporting systems and controls
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS
- Manage external audit relationships and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
Strategic Analysis
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities and risks
- Develop financial models to support business decisions and investment strategies
Qualifications and Experience
- Proven track record as a Head of Finance or similar senior financial role in a high-growth startup or venture-backed company
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Finance, Accounting & Operations
- Deep understanding of GAAP or IFRS accounting principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset to measure and optimize financial performance
- Executive-level presence, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Passion for building and scaling businesses
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools
- Familiarity with fundraising processes and venture capital landscape
- Experience working with brands and/or retailers a plus
