The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic partner to the CEO, playing a critical role in driving key strategic initiatives, optimizing organizational effectiveness, and ensuring seamless execution across the business. This is a highly visible, individual contributor role that requires significant interaction with the Executive Leadership Team.

Experience/Education

  • Educational Experience: Strong undergraduate degree; MBA from a top program or equivalent advanced degree preferred but not required
  • Professional Experience: 3-6 years of experience in a high-performance environment such as management consulting, investment banking, equity research, or a high-growth healthcare / technology company; Previous experience as Chief of Staff is desirable, but not required
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep experience in the healthcare industry, particularly with medical device, pharma, or AI technology companies, is a significant

Job Responsibilities

Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and Board of Directors Engagement:

  • Design and manage operating mechanisms for the ELT to ensure alignment on strategy, monitor execution, and remove roadblocks to
  • Own the preparation and coordination of all materials for Board of Directors meetings, including agenda setting, presentation development, and follow- up on action items.
  • Prepare the CEO for critical external engagements, including investor presentations, earnings calls, and speaking opportunities.

Strategic Planning & Execution:

  • Work with the CEO and ELT to facilitate the strategic planning process, translating high-level objectives into tangible, company-wide
  • Monitor the execution of key strategic initiatives, providing regular updates to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Identify and help solve high-priority, cross-functional business issues that do not fall neatly into a single department.

Strategic Partnerships:

  • Own the identification, cultivation, and management of key strategic partnerships that align with company priorities.
  • Partner with Business Development, Product, and Clinical teams to structure win-win collaborations with technology companies, pharma, payors, and health systems.

Special Projects & Analysis:

  • Lead and execute ad hoc projects and analyses on behalf of the CEO, such as competitive intelligence, market entry strategies, and business model
  • Conduct deep dives into key metrics and data, providing the CEO with simplified insights and recommendations.

Communication & Culture:

  • Serve as a key liaison between the CEO and the rest of the organization, ensuring clear, consistent communication of company priorities and
  • Act as a sounding board and trusted advisor to the CEO and other members of the leadership team.
  • Help foster a positive company culture that is aligned with the company’s mission and values.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary compensation range is $200,000 to $250,000, cash bonus, and equity. #LI-Hybrid
