Job Description:
Blue Water Thinking is seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Staffing IDIQ Contract Manager to join our team, supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The primary responsibilities of the Contract Manager are to provide effective customer relationship management, oversee all awarded task orders under the IDIQ, and successfully capture new task orders on the IDIQ ensuring successful planning, implementation, and strategic direction of the program.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all task orders under the IDIQ, ensuring effective management and execution.
- Lead the planning and implementation of activities related to the IDIQ contract.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for the program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Directly support new business initiatives under the IDIQ framework.
- Spearhead the business development effort, including staffing, technical proposal writing, teaming, and coordination with partners to secure the right resources for opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to optimize program performance and outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience managing major programs, projects, or contracts.
- Experience managing large Clinical Staffing Contract Vehicles $200MB in ceiling and a large number of teaming partners and subcontractors.
- Experience in strategic pricing and market conditions around medical staffing.
- Significant experience with Healthcare Recruiting
- Proven track record in strategic planning, program management, and business development within the federal contracting sphere.
- Strong understanding of federal contracting regulations and requirements.
- Strong understanding of Medical Malpractice and Medical Liability Insurance.
- Demonstrated ability in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masterโs Degree in a relevant field.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
- Direct experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs or similar federal agencies.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Eligibility:
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required federal public trust clearance for this role.
Compensation
Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidateโs particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.
Salary range: $180,000 - $200,000
