As a cloud consultant you’ll lead out customer engagements, assessing their needs and developing and implementing industry leading solutions leveraging Azure & AWS technologies.
Whilst solving customers business challenges, you’ll provide enablement not only in the technology but also in modern ways of working to support its use.
This a flexible and varied role working with a diverse range of customers across the cloud transformation spectrum to:
- Be a trusted advisor for all things Cloud
- Lead and inspire our customers on the benefits of cloud technology, automation, and enable a DevOps/DevSecOps culture
- Lead assessments and roadmaps
- Lead solution design, commercial options and implementation
- Provide enablement and guidance
What you’ll bring
- You will be passionate about cloud transformation and solving customer challenges.
- You’ll have a strong consultative approach and presentation skills, and understand the business benefits and economics of cloud technologies
- Strong familiarity with cloud platform specific Cloud Adoption and Well Architected Frameworks.
- Experienced in designing, building, and deploying public cloud technologies such as AWS & Azure
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK, Bicep etc.
- Experience with Microservices and/or Containers and/or coding languages would be preferable.A strong customer service focus, with an ability to build and maintain lasting customer partnerships
- Strong influencing and persuasive ability
Responsibilities
- Providing primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions.
- Providing application and technical support.
- Using in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assisting the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and may prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
- Reporting only those incumbents with incentives not tied to product sales. Provides primarily pre-sales technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions.
- Using in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- May create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions
