Community Manager (Web & Engagement Focus)
This is a contract position.
This a remote opportunity US/PST preferred.
About this Position
Are you a creative and technical professional passionate about community building and web development? We are seeking a Community Manager with a strong background in community engagement and website maintenance. In this role, you’ll contribute to a vibrant player community by supporting digital communication strategies and managing multiple studio websites. You’ll collaborate closely with a larger community management team to deliver engaging content, technical solutions, and immersive experiences.
Job Responsibilities
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot multiple static studio websites
Implement updates, security patches, and new features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Apply SEO and analytics best practices to improve website performance
Design visual assets such as banners, graphics, and icons for branding and community engagement
Support community outreach initiatives via newsletters, blog posts, social media, and live streams
Partner with game developers to produce and share compelling content
Monitor, moderate, and respond to community feedback across platforms (forums, social media, email)
Assist with technical issues and ensure a seamless digital experience for users
Job Skills/Requirements
5+ years of experience in community management or related field
2+ years of experience in static website development and upkeep
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with content creation and engagement strategies
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Proficient in Google Suite tools (Docs, Sheets, Drive)

$35-$40/hr
