Who You Are
Ontic is looking for a visionary and results-driven Data + AI Operations Leader to own data-driven decision-making and AI innovation across our organization. This individual will be responsible for Ontic’s GTM tool strategy, the orchestration of data & advanced analytics strategies, and the implementation & advancement of AI utilization.
Reporting into a team led by our VP of RevOps, which sits as an independent operational org reporting to our COO, and operating as a strategic business partner to GTM teams, you will work directly with our C-Suite & Senior Leadership Teams helping to drive tool, data, analytics, and AI strategy, ensuring key objectives and priorities are met across the company. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking, technical expertise, and leadership skills to spearhead initiatives that transform data into actionable insights and intelligent automation in a scalable way.
Responsibilities
Drive cross-functional alignment with key organizations like Sales, Marketing, Client Success, Services, Engineering and Product to enable successful end-to-end execution of key data & AI initiatives
Advise and influence senior leaders on key business decisions required & major change initiatives
Define and lead the enterprise-wide analytics and AI strategy aligned with business objectives
Evangelize data-driven culture across departments and executive leadership
Collaborate with leaders to identify AI & analytics opportunities & prioritize high-impact projects
Translate business needs into technical requirements & actionable insights
Technology & Tools
Evaluate and implement data platforms, BI tools, and AI frameworks
Maintain a strong understanding of current trends and advancements in analytics, machine learning, and AI technologies
Analytics & AI Development
Drive AI usage and innovation within the Operations team and across the organization
Oversee the development of predictive models and analytics use cases
Guide the implementation of AI/ML models in production environments
Ensure ethical and responsible AI usage, including bias detection and governance
Measurement & Optimization
Develop KPIs and dashboards to track the impact of analytics and AI initiatives
Continuously improve models and solutions based on feedback and performance metrics
Prepare executive-level reporting & presentations on business results & key trends to help the leadership team understand how we are tracking to our goals, where there is risk and where there are successes to be replicated
Build processes & maintain data to enable a single source of truth to all critical datapoints needed to provide critical business insights & measure performance
Ensure consistent definitions, calculations and use of critical metrics company-wide
Establish data governance policies, ensuring data is collected and processed accurately, and maintaining the integrity of data sources
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years experience in Operations, BI, Analytics, Data Strategy, Business Transformation
- Proven experience scaling & managing GTM technology platforms; current tech stack includes but is not limited to Salesforce, Clari, Domo, GuideCX, ZoomInfo, Google Office Suite, Slack
- Track record of delivering enterprise-scale analytics or AI initiatives
- Expertise in data science tools and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, DOMO)
- Strong understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and/or generative AI applications
- Experience working with ambiguity and laser focused on delivering results; excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear and concise reports
- Strong leadership & team-building skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field
$210,000 - $220,000 a year
Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes a bonus plan, equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Ontic. Individual pay decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, and skillset.
