Job description
About Blueprint
At Blueprint, we’re on a mission to empower therapists with world-class tools so they can focus on what matters most—delivering exceptional mental health care.
Our AI assistant is purpose-built for therapists, automating the administrative tasks that slow them down and enabling them to operate at the top of their license. With Blueprint, therapists aren’t just managing their work; they’re supported by tools that understand the context of each client interaction. Compared to legacy software tools, Blueprint feels more like having the world’s best executive assistant at your side.
Today, over 40,000 therapists use Blueprint to enhance care for hundreds of thousands of clients. We’ve found strong product-market fit and are scaling rapidly to meet demand.
Our organization is very flat, and our team is intentionally small and talent-dense. We like people who are truthseekers, creative, and passionate about improving mental health care.
We’re a remote-first company (U.S. and Canada only, for now) and come together in person a few times a year to connect, have fun, and help shape the future of mental health care.
The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, cross-functional Data & Ops Analyst to help us transform how we use data across Blueprint. This person will partner closely with product, engineering, marketing, and leadership to wrangle messy data, surface insights, and help us make better decisions faster.
This is a high-impact, self-directed role reporting directly to the CEO but with dotted lines to multiple other stakeholders. This role is perfect for a generalist who’s just as comfortable writing SQL and cleaning up Mixpanel events as they are presenting insights to the executive team. You’ll lead the charge on turning our data layer into a strategic asset.
Because of that, we’re looking for someone who can prioritize independently, organize their own work, and thrive in ambiguity. You won’t be handed a list of tasks — you’ll help define the questions that matter and drive the work forward.
What You’ll Do
Partner with engineering to ensure key data pipelines are flowing into Mixpanel, our data warehouse, and reporting tools cleanly and consistently
Maintain and improve event tracking infrastructure (e.g. Mixpanel), ensuring naming conventions, properties, and schema are easy to use and reason about
Run exploratory and retrospective analyses for product, GTM, and leadership teams — e.g. conversion funnels, onboarding cohorts, churn trends, pricing model impact, etc
Build and maintain dashboards for self-serve insights (e.g. revenue tracking, usage patterns, expansion/contraction trends)
Translate messy stakeholder questions into structured analysis and clearly communicate takeaways
Help shape our longer-term data strategy, including tooling, warehouse architecture, and analytics best practices
4+ years in a data analyst, analytics engineer, or product analytics role at a SaaS or high-growth tech company
Strong SQL skills; comfort navigating data across systems (e.g. Stripe, Mixpanel, Internal DBs)
Familiarity with product analytics tools (Mixpanel preferred), data warehouses (BigQuery, Snowflake, etc), and BI tools (e.g. Metabase, Looker, Hex, Tableau)
Ability to work independently and figure out what matters most, without waiting for a perfectly scoped ticket
Ability to move between heads-down analysis and cross-functional collaboration
Clear, concise communicator who can translate complexity into clarity
Bonus: experience working with event instrumentation, dbt, or light data engineering tasks
