We are an AI company founded in 2018 and based in San Francisco, California. We help AI labs develop advanced models in areas like reasoning, coding, and multimodal interactions. We then use this work to build real-world AI systems for other companies to solve their critical problems.

We develop large-scale Reinforcement Learning (RL) environments and data generation systems. These systems train multimodal agents to improve model performance in coding, real-world tasks, and complex STEM reasoning. Our services include creating evaluations, benchmarks, and post-training datasets (Supervised Fine-Tuning, Reinforcement Learning with Human Feedback, RL environments) to improve model capabilities. We also build production-ready systems and workflows, turning advanced models into business results by aligning AI capabilities with business goals.

Our operations are supported by Turing’s talent cloud, an AI-vetted pool of over 4 million software engineers, data scientists, and STEM experts. This global network, spanning more than 100 countries, trains models and builds AI applications. We report a 97% engagement success rate and an average time from scope to start date of about 4 days. Our ALAN platform, an AI-powered system, manages talent matching and generates high-quality human and synthetic data to enhance model performance. ALAN also streamlines various workflows, including model and agent evaluations, supervised fine-tuning, reinforcement learning, and data capture for both pre-training and post-training.
