Your role:
- Lead a team of 20+ Data Scientists to develop our Fraud Detection solution for the French market.
- Oversee team staffing and development, support individual growth and performance.
- Serve as the primary escalation point for customer issues.
- Scale solution deployment and maintenance, supervising Data Science teams.
- Support our French Sales and Presales teams, and present the demo of our product to potential clients.
Your team focuses on:
- Working with our Dev, Product and Data Science teams to build the best Fraud Detection algorithms for France.
- Digging into insurers data to find creative methods to detect large scale fraud rings, involving providers, identity thefts, fake claims, crash-for-cash schemes and many more.
- Working closely with our clients to understand their requirements and prioritise technical developments liaising with the Product team.
What you bring:
- You are living in the Paris area, with easy access to our headquarters (12th Arr.)
- You have at least 5-7 years of Data Science experience.
- 2 years leadership and managerial experience and a strong will to lead teams.
- Great technical skills, experience in coding with an object-oriented language (for example Java, C# or C++).
- Very good autonomy and demonstrating initiative.
- Good client facing skills, to understand the client’s operational team business problems, and find creative technical ways to solve them.
- Team player, as you’ll interact with many other teams: other Data Science teams, Developers, Product Managers, Project Managers, Sales, Presales.
- Insurance industry experience is a nice-to-have, but not required.
- Advanced command of French, both written and spoken, equivalent to a native speaker.
- Business fluency in English - any additional languages a Plus
