Job Description
As Database Administrator:
Currently (CMO), the Database Team includes several database specialists, a Product Owner, a Scrum Master, and two storage specialists. In the Future Mode of Operation (FMO), the storage specialists will move to a separate Platform Team.The team currently manages Oracle, Postgres, Crunchy Cluster, and MySQL databases. In the FMO, Cassandra and MS-SQL will be added to the supported database portfolio.
Qualifications
Background and required skills:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in the following areas: Computer science, Engineering or Information Technology or equivalent work experience in IT
- At least 3-5 years of experience in managing and implementing automation solutions in the database environment.
- Experience in planning, installing, and configuring automation systems.
- Experience with Gitlab, Openshift, Ansible, AWX, Oracle, OLVM, Postgres, Crunchy
- Experience with ServicePortal solutions
- Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication competences in English language.
Advantage:
- German is a plus
- Knowledge in agile
- Conducting deployment tests with documented verification
- Familiarity with database management tools and monitoring solutions
- Experience with Jira, Confluence
