Job description
Allwyn Lottery Solutions is a subsidiary of Allwyn Entertainment Group - a leading multinational lottery operator with a strong presence in Austria, the Czech Republic, Greece, Cyprus, Italy, North America, and the United Kingdom.
In FY 2024, Allwyn reported €8.8 billion in revenue, reflecting continued growth across its international portfolio. This momentum reinforces Allwyn’s long-term ambition to become the world’s leading lottery-led entertainment platform - and our technology plays a critical role in making that vision a reality.
At Allwyn LS, we underpin and support lotteries that return more to good causes by delivering innovative, efficient, and secure technology across a growing digital gaming portfolio. As Allwyn’s chosen technology provider, we’re leading a bold, multi-year roadmap across iLottery, Central Host systems, iGaming, game content, and data platforms - supporting both internal markets and future external opportunities.
With deep industry expertise, diverse talent, and a track record of exceptional execution, we’re not just building products - we’re powering the future of lottery through world-class technology and operational excellence. Fully aligned to Allwyn’s ambition and long-term investment in digital growth, we’re building the platforms that will scale globally and shape the future of the lottery industry.
About the Delivery Team:
We are servant leaders who lead from the front - bringing clarity, pace, and a relentless focus on execution. But great delivery isn’t just about pushing work through - it’s about how you bring people with you.
We work closely with Product, Engineering, and the wider Technology organisation to ensure our teams stay aligned, engaged, and focused on the right outcomes. We bring people together, build trust quickly, and rely on strong relationships and emotional intelligence to navigate complexity and drive progress.
We challenge the status quo when needed, ask the hard questions, and hold the line on quality and delivery. We tell the right stories to unlock decisions, clear blockers, and keep delivery moving - even when the path isn’t straightforward.
We’re disciplined about how we track progress and transparent in how we report it - always ensuring there’s a clear view of what’s on track, what’s at risk, and where support is needed. We actively manage risks, surface hidden issues early, and stay close to dependencies that could impact our ability to deliver.
We deliver through others - so our role is to create the space, structure, and momentum for teams to do their best work. And we take that responsibility seriously.
What makes this role exciting and challenging:
The Delivery Lead plays a critical role in turning our strategy into execution - leading from the front to ensure our teams deliver high-impact digital lottery solutions, on time and at scale. You’ll operate at the heart of a fast-paced, cross-functional environment - working closely with Product, Engineering, and stakeholders across the business. This isn’t just about running ceremonies or tracking tickets. It’s about building strong delivery teams, navigating complexity, and creating the conditions for great execution.
You’ll be responsible for aligning delivery with roadmap goals, surfacing and managing risks early, and ensuring dependencies are handled before they become blockers. You’ll help drive focus, clarity, and pace - while empowering your teams and leading through influence rather than control. This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact across Allwyn’s global technology organisation - bringing structure where it’s needed and momentum where it counts.
Key Accountabilities and Duties:
Team Delivery & Execution
- Lead and coordinate delivery across 2–3 cross-functional development teams, ensuring alignment with roadmap priorities and delivery targets.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies (planning, estimation, stand-ups, retrospectives), ensuring they drive clarity and commitment.
- Maintain accurate, transparent delivery boards and dashboards in Jira, reflecting real-time progress and delivery health.
- Track delivery against scope, timelines, and dependencies - raising risks early, escalating where appropriate, and driving resolution to keep delivery on track.
Planning & Risk Management
- Work with Product and Engineering to ensure delivery readiness - valid PRDs, tech designs, assets, and capacity in place before work begins.
- Proactively identify and manage risks, blockers, and cross-team dependencies, escalating early and coordinating mitigation.
- Monitor team velocity and ensure delivery plans remain realistic and aligned to team capacity.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
- Act as the delivery point of contact for your teams - building trusted relationships with team members and leadership across Product, Technology, Capability Leads, and wider stakeholders.
- Provide clear, timely updates on delivery progress, risks, and decisions - ensuring visibility at every level.
- Participate in Scrum of Scrums and other delivery forums to drive alignment and surface cross-cutting issues early.
Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement - challenging the status quo and ensuring retro outcomes are actioned.
- Ensure team alignment with SDLC processes and delivery governance.
- Share lessons learned from your teams to improve and evolve our delivery capability - refining processes, tooling, and delivery practices across the organisation.
- Collaborate with the Head of Delivery and fellow Delivery Leads to ensure consistency in standards, tooling, and execution.
Servant Leadership & Team Enablement
Lead by example - building trust through support, clarity, and consistent follow-through.
Foster team morale, ownership, and a culture of delivery excellence by empowering others to lead and succeed.
Shield teams from distractions, maintain focus, and provide context to help navigate changes or decisions that impact delivery.
Partner with Capability Leads to ensure teams are well-resourced, supported, and set up to succeed.
Proactively surface and address performance challenges - whether individual, team-wide, or process-related - working constructively to resolve issues and maintain delivery standards.
Deliver through others - enabling flow, guiding without controlling, and creating the space and momentum for teams to do their best work.
At least 3+ years of experience driving end-to-end execution within agile, cross-functional software delivery teams.
Strong understanding of agile frameworks, team dynamics, and the software delivery lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to manage risks, resolve blockers early, and maintain delivery momentum in complex environments.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Product, Engineering, and wider business teams.
Able to influence decisions by presenting clear delivery insights, surfacing risks early, and framing trade-offs effectively.
Confident managing and communicating delivery metrics, ensuring clarity and visibility across all levels.
Comfortable operating in dynamic, fast-paced environments with shifting priorities and cross-team dependencies.
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive - able to anticipate challenges and take action early.
Skilled at fostering a positive team culture grounded in collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
Proficient in delivery tooling such as Jira and Confluence.
Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written), with the ability to present confidently in meetings, structure delivery updates effectively, and articulate key messages in slide decks and written reports - balancing brevity with the right level of detail.
Curious, adaptable, and committed to learning and growth.
A collaborative mindset and a clear passion for team success.
