POSITION SUMMARY

The primary goal of the Director of Revenue Assurance will be to ensure the business generates accurate invoices in accordance withcustomer agreements in a manner that would prevent or minimize revenue leakage from the time the order is placed through to when payment is made.

The Director of Revenue Assurance will oversee the billing team and be responsible for ensuring revenue is complete and accurate and billed in atimely and efficient manner. To support the company’s rapid growth, theDirector of Revenue Assurancewill be responsible foridentifying opportunities to improve scalability, to automate and streamline operations, and identify gaps, and foster collaboration and continuity across all departments within the company to implement necessary changes.

The Director of Revenue Assurance will oversee the revenue management of the ‘Connectwise Manage’ professional services automation (PSA) system. This includes handling all moves, additions, and changes within the application, ensuring scalability, logical consistency, and alignment across various departments within the organization. A deep understanding and advanced background as a ConnectwiseManage Administrator is preferred.

Toexcel in this role, you will need strong communication skills, meticulousattention to detail, the capacity to delegate tasks effectively, the ability to motivate and train a team and adeptness in managingmulti-departmental tasks in a fast-paced environment.

The salary for this position is $125,000+ (negotiable based on experience).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train and mentorthe billing team, providing ongoing support and professional development
  • Establish KPI’s for the billing team and monitor performance
  • Oversee customer agreements setup and maintenance for recurring revenues in Connectwise Manage
  • Develop and implement policies, initiatives and tactics to optimize agreement management and billing processes
  • Develop documentation, including business work flows, process narratives and procedure walkthroughs
  • Oversee the monthly true up process and develop strategies to automate and optimize for efficiency
  • Review Professional Services Projects to ensure alignment with SOWs and accurate billing structure
  • Implement formalized review procedures and controls to ensure completeness and accuracy of billing
  • Act as Escalation Point forBilling Team, Client Strategy and professional services for billing inquiries, disputes, and credit memos
  • Carry out revenue assurance audits across the revenue cycle
  • Evaluate the revenue cycle from the time of order through to when the payment is received to identify opportunities to prevent or mitigate revenue loss and mitigate financial risk
  • Maintain data integrity within Connectwise Manage
  • Connectwise Manage database management and data analysis
  • Collaborate with all departments to develop/improve/automateinternal processes, and ensure scalability and cohesivenessamong cross functional teams
  • M & A Integrations–Review acquisition data and PSA platform and plan to have it integrated into Connectwise Manage.
  • Solid understanding of sales tax requirements
  • Preparing annual assessments for staff
  • Support year-end audit process, and requests for other non-recurring audits
  • Maintain knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, and compliance standards
  • Meet deadlines communicated by management
  • Special projects and ad hoc reporting, as requested

DESIRED SKILLSET/EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • Minimum 3-5 years of Admin experience with ConnectWise Manage PSA
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Billing / Revenue Assurance management role
  • Prior M&A integration experience
  • Intermediate to Proficient Excel skills required
  • Microsoft Office experience required
  • NetSuite experience a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communicationand interpersonal skills required
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive client and company information
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be flexible and available to work hours outside of regular business hours based on department needs
