About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Executive Assistant / Chief of Staff to support the Managing Director in a fast-paced, dynamic fintech environment. This role goes beyond traditional administrative support, offering a unique opportunity to play a strategic role in business operations, decision-making, and execution. The ideal candidate will have a background in Advisory (Big 4) or Investment Banking, or Fintech with a strong grasp of the fintech landscape, including payments, lending, and digital banking.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Support
· Partner with the MD to drive key business priorities and strategic initiatives.
· Prepare briefing materials, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
· Coordinate and track the execution of high-level strategic projects.
2. Research & Analysis
· Conduct industry and market research to support strategic planning and business development.
· Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
· Support due diligence, financial modelling, and benchmarking exercises when necessary.
3. Planning & Organisation
· Manage the MD’s schedule, prioritize tasks, and coordinate key meetings and follow-ups.
· Organize offsites, townhalls, and strategic planning sessions.
· Maintain oversight of deadlines, priorities, and deliverables across departments.
4. Communication & Liaison
· Act as a trusted point of contact between the MD and internal/external stakeholders.
· Draft high-quality correspondence, memos, and communications on behalf of the MD.
· Ensure timely and effective communication flow across departments.
5. Operational Efficiency
· Identify gaps and implement solutions to improve operational workflows.
· Support execution and tracking of KPIs and performance metrics.
· Maintain confidentiality and discretion on sensitive matters at all times.
Requirements
· 4–7 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy roles.
· Strong exposure to or interest in fintech, particularly in payments, lending, or digital banking.
· Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent written and verbal communication
· High emotional intelligence with the ability to influence and build strong relationships.
· Self-starter, detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus).
· Prior experience supporting C-level executives or working in a startup/scale-up environment is advantageous.
· Familiarity with tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Notion, and other productivity platforms.
