Build Amazing - Deliver Amazing - Live Amazing - Be Amazing
Discover Opportunities. Drive Customer Growth.
At Nextiva, we’re revolutionizing business communications by helping companies of all sizes deliver amazing customer experiences. We’re looking for driven and consultative Expansion Account Executives to manage and grow our base of small business customers in the United States.
How You’ll Change Our Customers’ Lives: This full-cycle sales role is ideal for a consultative seller who understands the value of long-term relationships and knows how to uncover new business opportunities from within an active customer base. You’ll discover how customers run their businesses, identify pain points, and guide them to solutions that drive real impact. You’ll play an important role in helping our customers unlock more value from their investment and achieve long-term growth.
What You’ll Do:
- Sell Nextiva solutions through a primarily outbound motion to existing small business customers (less than 100 employees)
- Uncover opportunities through strategic, prospecting and discovery-led outreach using calls, email, SMS, and voicemail
- Recommend and position Nextiva solutions — from call center features to analytics and AI tools — that solve real business problems
- Deliver personalized product demos that show how Nextiva creates meaningful business outcomes
- Identify and prioritize high-potential opportunities within the existing customer pool, leveraging structured outreach strategies and available insights
- Qualify, prioritize, and close deals with confidence
- Use Salesforce to manage pipeline and forecast revenue accurately
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure a seamless customer experience and alignment across teams
- Champion Nextiva’s standard of Delivering Amazing Service® in every customer interaction
What We’re Looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in customer service, account management, inside sales, or business development in a fast-paced, high-volume environment in telecommunications, technology, or other relevant industries
- Demonstrated success in outbound customer engagement — not reliant on inbound leads or support triggers preferred
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota and/or other relevant revenue KPIs (retention, renewal, upsell/cross-sell, lead generation, etc.) preferred
- Experience working in a high-volume environment and/or managing high volume books of business
- Clear, concise verbal and written communication for high-volume outreach. English fluency required (spoken and written)
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)
- Comfortable navigating a team-driven sales model with a collaborative mindset
- Highly coachable, organized, and motivated by results
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Administration
- B2B Sales Experience
- Experience selling SaaS, UCaaS, CCaaS, or PaaS solutions
- Experience delivering demos and pitch decks
- Experience selling to US based customers
- Experience with Salesforce CRM, pipeline forecasting, and qualification frameworks like BANT or MEDDPICC
Core Competencies:
- Adaptability: Quickly adjusts sales strategies in response to customer needs, or company priorities. Maintains productivity and focus during times of change. Demonstrates ability to quickly understand the value, features, and competitive differentiators of a unified communication platform. Translates technical capabilities into business value for customers and confidently educates buyers on how the platform solves communication and collaboration challenges.
- Drive for Results: Consistently meets or exceeds sales targets by taking initiative, following through on opportunities, and maintaining a strong sense of ownership over individual performance and outcomes.
- Resilience: Maintains a positive and professional attitude in the face of rejection or setbacks. Uses feedback constructively and rebounds quickly to pursue new opportunities with energy and focus.
