Fleetio is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Expense Accountant to join our growing Accounting team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing our employee expenses and vendor payments, as well as supporting month-end close activities. You’ll be a key part of ensuring timely and accurate finance operations that support our employees and business goals.

Your Impact
- Review and process employee expenses to ensure compliance with company policies
- Manage virtual corporate cards and spend programs in Ramp for Fleetio and Auto Integrate
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor payments
- Contribute to our month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- Support employees seeking assistance with their card and expense questions
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in expense and payment workflows
Your Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in public/private accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (or relevant SaaS experience)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Proven success in managing recurring accounting duties
- Ability to recognize problems, recommend solutions, and implement changes collaboratively
- Technologically savvy and comfortable using various software/tools
- Highly motivated and ambitious
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Well-organized, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Experience with Ramp, NetSuite, and Asana is a plus
- Experience with foreign currency is a plus
- Background check required
