Role Summary – Field Marketing Representative (FMR)
Reporting to the Vice President of Strategy, the FMR is the on-the-ground catalyst for Sweed’s door-count and ARR goals. You will own territory coverage (initial focus: Nevada) by visiting ≥ 25 dispensaries per week, activating regional events, and converting interest into qualified demos for Account Executives. Success is measured on scheduled demos, qualified opportunities, and closed-door contributions, rewarded by Sweed’s best-in-class commission plan.
Key Responsibilities
Territory & Visit Execution
Strategically map weekly routes and perform drop-in visits to 25+ dispensaries per week.
Log every touchpoint in HubSpot with clear next steps, ensuring ≥ 95 % CRM hygiene for reliable funnel reporting.
Event & Partner Activation
Coordinate regional pop-ups, trade-show booths, and partner lunch-and-learns from ideation through follow-up.
Capture 50+ net-new qualified contacts per event and hand them off to Account Executives within 24 hours.
Opportunity Creation
Engage budtenders, managers, and owners to uncover pain points and position Sweed’s automation-first platform.
Book ≥ 8 qualified product demos per week that convert into pipeline for AEs.
Data & Governance
Tag all contacts, visit notes, and lead sources accurately; uphold Sweed’s data-integrity standards.
Leverage dashboard insights to spot territory gaps and optimize weekly field plans.
Cross-Functional Alignment
Relay field intelligence on competitor moves, pricing, and product gaps to Sales, Product, and RevOps in weekly syncs.
Contribute to quarterly voice-of-customer sessions and competitive tear-downs.
Brand Advocacy
Represent Sweed’s values and “shatter the myth” brand promise in every interaction.
Distribute compliant collateral, demonstrate deep product knowledge, and ensure positive, on-brand experiences for all dispensary stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
2–5 years field marketing, territory sales, or brand-ambassador experience in legal cannabis or regulated retail.
Familiarity with dispensary tech stacks (POS, e-commerce, loyalty, payments) and state compliance rules.
Proficiency with HubSpot or similar CRM; disciplined in data entry and pipeline hygiene.
Ability to travel 75%+ within assigned territory; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills; comfortable engaging frontline staff and C-level owners.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior success generating pipeline for SaaS, POS, or fintech solutions.
Existing network of dispensary decision-makers.
Experience in high-growth startup environments (0 → $50 M ARR).
Knowledge of partner co-marketing or event-sponsorship best practices.
