As we continue our ambitious growth trajectory, we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Operations Specialist to support our core finance operations.
Role overview:
This is a remote position so you will need to be self-motivated and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. As a Finance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for managing invoicing and payment cycles, overseeing the integrity of our financial systems and records, liaising with external accountants, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You will also be responsible for configuring and maintaining our accounting software (Xero and Joiin) to support scalability and compliance. This position is ideal for a CPA with an audit background and a strong grasp of operational finance in a fast-paced, international environment.
Responsibilities
Lead accounts receivable and payable processes, including invoice issuance, reconciliation, and payment tracking
Supervise month-end close processes with our external accountants and ensure they maintain accurate general ledger entries
Manage day-to-day communication and coordination with external accountants and tax advisors
Own the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of Xero and Joiin accounting platforms
Review and validate employee expense claims and vendor invoices in line with finance policies
Assist in preparing management reports, financial statements, and reconciliations
Ensure internal controls, compliance processes, and audit readiness are upheld
Monitor budgets, support intercompany billing, and track cost allocations
Maintain well-organized, accessible financial documentation
Proactively identify and implement improvements to finance workflows and systems
Your profile
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required
At least 3 years of relevant experience, including audit experience in a professional services or corporate environment
Proficiency in Xero, including setup, configuration, and custom reporting
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with additional finance tools is a plus
Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent organizational and analytical abilities; self-driven and resourceful
Experience in a startup, SaaS, or international company environment is preferred
