Pavago is seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our client’s team. This role requires a strong background in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis, and QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage financial data efficiently. This position is best suited for an analytical and detail-oriented professional who can handle financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, and oversee month-end closing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Cycle Accounting: Handle journal entries, payroll, fixed assets, accounts receivable, accounts payable, balance sheet reconciliations, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
- QuickBooks Online Management: Manage financial data from multiple sources and ensure accurate input into QuickBooks Online. Must be able to quickly learn new financial systems.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, evaluate financial performance, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Excel Proficiency: Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial modeling, reporting, and data management.
- Problem-Solving & Analytical Thinking: Identify financial discrepancies, analyze complex financial data, and implement corrective actions.
- Communication & Coordination: Effectively communicate financial issues and deadlines to team members and management, ensuring employees complete Fyle transactions in a timely manner.
- Detail-Oriented Approach: Maintain accuracy in financial records, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled.
- Technology & System Adaptability: Work with various financial tools and platforms, ensuring smooth data integration and reporting.

- Accounting Expertise: Strong to very strong background in full-cycle accounting, including payroll, accounts reconciliation, and financial reporting.

Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or controlling roles and experience working with financial platforms and reporting tools.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation.
- Software: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Financial Understanding: Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Internet: Reliable internet connection for seamless remote work.
What Does a Typical Day Look Like?
Your day will involve managing financial transactions, overseeing QuickBooks Online operations, ensuring accurate reconciliations, and preparing financial statements. You will work on month-end closing, analyze financial reports, and provide strategic recommendations to improve financial efficiency.
