About the team

The Mobile Web Team is responsible for delivering a seamless and high-performing document editing experience on mobile web devices, with a strong focus on phones. The team ensures that core editing functionality, user interactions, and performance are optimized for smaller screens, touch input, and constrained device environments.

Team Goals and Mission

Our mission is to empower users to view, edit, and manage documents anytime, anywhere, from their phones — without compromising on speed, reliability, or usability. We aim to provide a mobile-first experience that feels native, responsive, and intuitive across all major mobile browsers.

What Funnel the Team Supports

The team contributes directly to the activation and engagement funnels, ensuring that mobile users can complete key document workflows — such as editing, signing, or sharing — without friction. A reliable mobile experience is critical for user conversion and retention in our product lifecycle.

Tech stack:

Frontend: React, Redux, Webpack, Websocket

Backend: Node, Redis (Valkey), PHP

Infrastructure: Kubernetes (K8S), Argo CD, Github Actions

Tools: Grafana, JIRA, Confluence, Quantive

What you’ll be working on:

  • Develop and Maintain High-Performance Frontend Features

Implement new features and enhancements for the pdfFiller editor using React, Redux, and WebSockets, ensuring smooth and responsive user experiences across web and mobile platforms.

  • Ensure Code Quality and Maintainability

Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code. Contribute to code reviews and enforce best practices to maintain high code quality, test coverage, and performance.

  • Collaborate Across Disciplines

Work closely with backend engineers, QA, product managers, and designers to deliver features from concept to production, ensuring alignment with business and user goals.

  • Contribute to Technical Excellence

Optimize frontend performance, contribute to architectural decisions, and help scale the editor to support millions of users globally.

  • Participate in Agile Processes and Continuous Delivery

Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Contribute to planning, estimation, and iterative delivery of features, ensuring timely and reliable deployments.

  • Continuously Learn and Share Knowledge

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies. Mentor less experienced teammates and actively participate in knowledge sharing within the team and across the unit.

What we expect from you:

  • At least 3 years of JS or TS programming experience
  • Experience with React, Redux (thunk, saga)
  • Familiarity with Git
  • Good understanding of algorithms and data structures.
  • Experience with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, npm/yarn, etc.
  • Experience with WebSockets
  • Experience with unit testing
