Paddle offers SaaS companies a completely different approach to their payment infrastructure. The role:
You’ll be working closely with Product managers, designers and engineers across teams to create a world-class user experience for our customers.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance of our checkout user interface and user experience (UI/UX). You’ll focus on creating a seamless and intuitive user journey through the checkout and payment flow, ensuring performance and accessibility for all users.
What you’ll do:
Work on critical frontend applications used by a global network of sellers
Develop greenfield products and enhance our existing front-end architecture
Collaborate closely and pair with product designers and contribute to design systems
Provide engineering advice for team issues, and be involved in wider technical decisions that positively impact the department and company
Work directly with backend teams on API specifications and integration
Improve the dashboard user experience in gradual, frequent iterations
We’d love to hear from you if you:
A technical skill set including: React, TypeScript, CSS, React Testing Library/Jest, Playwright.
Implemented high performing front-end applications in agile Product teams.
Experience working closely with Product designers and pairing for ideation sessions.
Strong understanding of the development process from design through to deployment and maintenance and what that means for day-to-day development.
Worked with AWS/Terraform before and practised DevOps, or are willing to learn about this.
