A fast-moving performance-marketing agency that builds its own AI-native software to launch landing pages, generate banner ads, and manage Google and Meta campaigns at scale is looking for a Full-Stack AI Engineer who can take features from whiteboard to production—owning every layer of the stack while crafting delightful, self-serve interfaces for the team and flagship clients like Perplexity and Superhuman.

What You’ll Do
- End-to-End Feature Ownership
- Drive complex projects from initial problem statement through architecture, implementation, QA, and rollout—solo when necessary, collaboratively when helpful.
- Ship reliable, secure, and performant code that’s easy for teammates to extend.
- AI-Powered Tooling
- Build and refine PHP/Laravel services that use state-of-the-art language- and image-generation models to spin up landing pages, ad creatives, and campaign configurations on demand.
- Design repeatable prompt-engineering workflows so non-technical teammates can produce high-quality output.
- Exceptional UX & UI
- Create clean, responsive interfaces using Laravel Blade, JavaScript, and CSS—ensuring complex marketing tasks feel effortless.
- Iterate quickly on wireframes, micro-copy, and interaction patterns alongside marketers and designers.
- Client & Team Communication
- Explain trade-offs, surface risks, and demo new features directly to internal stakeholders and external engineering teams.
- Document architecture and user guides so anyone can jump in fast.
What You Need
- 3–5 years building production web apps, preferably SaaS or internal automation tools.
- Expert-level PHP with deep Laravel experience.
- Strong front-end proficiency using Laravel Blade, vanilla JavaScript, and modern CSS, with an eye for typography, spacing, and UI polish.
- Proven ability to work independently on high-complexity projects with minimal oversight—high agency and ownership mindset.
- Habitual use of AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, Cline, RooCode, etc.) to accelerate delivery.
- Solid grasp of REST/GraphQL APIs, SQL, Git, and cloud deployment (AWS, GCP, or similar).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable in async, remote-first workflows.
- Bias for action—pragmatic scope cuts, rapid iteration, and a “ship-then-improve” mentality.
- Nice-to-Have
- Experience with ad-tech APIs (Google Ads, Facebook/Meta Marketing, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Familiarity with generative-media stacks (Stable Diffusion, Runway, Pika) or vector search (PGVector, Pinecone).
- Basic design chops in Figma or Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of analytics platforms (GA4, PostHog) and server-side event piping.

- The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement.

- Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm (+/- 2 hours accepted) - PST.
