We founded RapidSOS in 2012 to work in public safety. Our platform securely links data from connected devices and buildings directly to 911, our RapidSOS Safety Agents, and field responders worldwide. We use HARMONY AI to deliver emergency data, making responses faster and more accurate.
Our platform fills gaps in emergency response by providing information such as crash details, medical histories, real-time vital signs, floor plans during school emergencies, and communication in disaster scenarios. We help with over 171 million emergencies each year. Our customers include 911 professionals, field responders, and other public safety organizations. Enterprise organizations also use our platform to send their safety data to 911.
Through our platform, 911 and field responders receive data like AI call summaries, non-English communication translation, and instant text dialogue from telematics providers such as SiriusXM Connect. For personal safety apps like Uber, we share device-based real-time location, car make/model, and driver/rider profiles. In school safety, through partners like Raptor Technologies, we can share the caller’s name, callback number, school name, address, and emergency type.
We develop and maintain real-time, globally distributed platforms using AI, automation, distributed systems, and real-time data pipelines. Our technologies include Python for backend systems and React/TypeScript for front-end applications. We offer the UNITE platform to enterprise-level public safety agencies. It unifies call handling, data intelligence, cloud architecture, and integrations.
