Position Description:
Rockpoint Legal Funding is looking for a proactive and resourceful team member to support our Probate Funding team in managing client relationships and day-to-day funding operations. This role works closely with internal teams to ensure efficient case management and requires a hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset.
The ideal candidate will handle all aspects of the funding process, actively communicating with courts, attorneys, case managers, vendors, and clients. Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills are a must. If you excel at client service and operational coordination, we encourage you to apply!
Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming and outgoing calls and emails from clients, providing guidance and support throughout the funding process.
- Assist inactive clients during the reintroduction process by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping restart stalled applications.
- Handle client requests with a strong understanding of Rockpoint’s products and services, identifying cross-sell opportunities to maximize fundings.
- Gather and verify case details by coordinating directly with courts, vendors, law firms, and beneficiaries.
- Obtain probate court documents by contacting county clerks, utilizing online resources, ordering runners, or following up with law offices.
- Call, email, and follow up with attorneys or paralegals to collect required case information.
- Prepare and organize complete, accurate files for underwriting review.
- Assist in drafting and coordinating contracts required for funding.
- Order and coordinate mobile notary services for documents requiring wet signatures.
- Make proactive outreach calls to help move the funding process forward and reduce delays.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all applications and interactions.
- Manage a high-volume caseload efficiently and with attention to detail.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
Qualifications:
- Must have Paralegal or Case Manager experience, preferably in probate law.
- Must be detail-oriented, very organized, and possess a strong multitasking ability.
- Must be an energetic and reliable individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven organization.
- Should have high emotional intelligence, charisma, interpersonal skills, and the ability to read between the lines and ask the right questions.
- The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the job’s essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). High level of comfort and confidence on the phone and the ability to communicate effectively through email.
- You must speak fluent English and Spanish.
- You must have a high-speed internet connection at your home (80 Mbps)
- Up-to-date laptop with at least 8GB RAM
- You must have a working computer system. Two computer monitors are a plus!

Compensation:
$10.00 - $12.50 USD / Hour DOE
