We’re hiring a Government Program Administrator for our Corporate HQ in Columbia, MO and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us, bring energy and drive to their work, and help us build the future of construction. TheGovernment Programs Administrator is to serve as the administrative backbone of our economic development and government relations initiatives. This role is fully remote.
Salary range: $62k-$75k. Factors including past experience and location may affect final compensation rate.
Primary Responsibilities
Program Administration & Coordination
- Manage end-to-end administration of economic incentive applications across multiple states and jurisdictions
- Coordinate complex application processes for tax abatements, grants, workforce development programs, and other government incentives
- Develop and maintain comprehensive tracking systems for all government programs, deadlines, and compliance requirements
- Create standardized workflows and documentation to ensure consistent program execution
Systems Development & Process Management
- Build and optimize repeatable administrative processes that can scale with company growth
- Design comprehensive project management frameworks for multi-state government relations initiatives
- Establish quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and completeness of all submissions
- Develop reporting mechanisms to track program outcomes and ROI
Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
- Serve as primary administrative liaison between internal teams (Real Estate, Construction, Operations, Legal) and external stakeholders
- Coordinate communication with economic development organizations, government agencies, and elected officials
- Manage document collection, preparation, and submission for various government programs
- Maintain detailed records of all stakeholder interactions and program communications
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure all activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, and program requirements
- Monitor and track compliance obligations for active incentive agreements
- Prepare regular status reports for leadership on program progress and outcomes
- Maintain organized documentation for audit and compliance purposes

Required Skills/Abilities
- Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in high-stakes environments
- Proven experience building and implementing scalable administrative systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with government officials and internal stakeholders
- Advanced proficiency in project management tools, databases, and document management systems
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex regulatory environments
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or related field
- At least 3-5 years of experience in program administration, project coordination, or similar role managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives
- Experience with government programs, grant administration, or regulatory compliance preferred
- Background in economic development, public sector, or construction industry a plus
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work effectively in a home office environment with reliable internet connectivity
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to travel up to 20% with occasional overnight travel for stakeholder meetings and site visits
