Job Description
- Implements activities, rules, procedures relevant for the continuous improvement of the environmental protection;
- Ensures and follows the compliance with the legal requirements in force, as well the requirements from the environmental authorization/permits, evaluate possible impacts on processes and facilities and implements measures, if it’s required;
- Ensure that all legally required permits are applied for in due time and that permit conditions are evaluated and implemented;
- Implements, ensures and follows the compliance of the ESH policy requirements, corporate standards requirements as well specifics ISO 14001 Standard requirements;
- Lead the Environmental Group consisting of fix positions and variable position ( employees for waste handler activity to ensure the fulfillment of the defined activities, according with the internal approved process.);
- To ensure reporting, to the highest management level, the performance of the management system for analyze and future improvement recommendations of the management system, in order to ensure the continuously improvement;
- Represent Continental in negotiations with responsible authorities;
- Conduct environmental checks/audits inside the plant and outside the plant ( e.g. contractors, waste disposal company, external warehouses etc.);
- Ensure a systematic and structured management of waste, waste water, air emission and handing of substances;
- Plan/initiate and implement Environmental improvement project / investments.
Qualifications
- University studies in engineering, chemistry or natural sciences;
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the field of environment protection;
- Experience of the internal auditor (audit preparation, audit performing, etc.);
- Experience in environmental aspect risk assessment;
- ISO 14001 certificate;
- ISO 45001 certificate - nice to have;
- Standard 190011 - nice to have;
- Waste management diploma - nice to have;
- English - minim B2;
- Leadership experience.
