HR Manager (Recruiting & HR Operations)

Position Overview:
The HR Manager will play a pivotal role in driving our talent strategy and managing core HR functions. This position requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in both recruitment and generalist HR responsibilities. You will be responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting while also managing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with legal standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Staffing
- Lead full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring top talent across departments.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and build strong talent pipelines.
2. Onboarding & Offboarding
- Oversee a smooth onboarding experience for new hires and ensure structured exit processes for departing employees.
3. Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers in resolving workplace issues, handling conflict, and fostering strong relationships.
4. Performance Management
- Support and guide the performance review process, goal setting, feedback, and development planning.
5. Compensation & Benefits
- Manage compensation programs and benefits administration to ensure competitive and equitable offerings.
6. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and implement programs that support employee growth and career progression.
7. Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and maintain up-to-date HR documentation.
8. HR Policy Development
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies and procedures that reflect company values and regulatory requirements.
9. Workplace Culture & Engagement
- Champion initiatives that promote a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace environment.
10. HR Data & Reporting
- Maintain HR systems and generate reports on key HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including strong recruitment and generalist background.
- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and employment regulations.
- Proven ability to build trust, influence others, and manage sensitive situations with discretion.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
