Job description

MEDVA is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Specialist with a focus on healthcare to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will bring HR expertise, preferably with experience in the U.S. healthcare industry, particularly in psychiatry. This role involves managing various HR functions, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

  • Employee File Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.

  • Support the implementation and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with employees, management, and external partners to resolve HR-related issues.

  • Coordinate training sessions and professional development initiatives for employees.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.

  • HR experience in the U.S. healthcare industry.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain confidentiality.

  •  Knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance, and best practices related to human resources.

  • Strong understanding of employee relations and experience in conflict resolution.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Experience with remote team management is a plus.
