As an HR Manager – Process & Operations, you’ll lead critical HR processes that ensure operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional alignment at Suvoda. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, systems-savvy HR professional who thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership without needing close oversight, and brings strategic thinking to day-to-day HR execution.
This role is a hands-on process leader - owning HR projects, improving workflows, and driving best-in-class operational support in partnership with HR Business Partners, HRIS, and other stakeholders across Suvoda.

Key Responsibilities
Own and continuously optimize core HR operational processes (onboarding, offboarding, contract changes, data management, etc.) to improve compliance, efficiency, and experience.
Monitor Romanian labor law changes, ensuring policy and process updates reflect current legal requirements and business needs.
Serve as a process advisor and compliance partner to HR Business Partners, Finance, Legal, and global teams.
Partner with the HRIS team to maintain and enhance systems such as Workday and Charisma, ensuring accurate data, smooth workflows, and effective reporting.
Lead and execute HR projects (e.g., audits, system improvements, documentation updates) with minimal oversight and full ownership of timelines and outcomes.
Coordinate with Payroll to ensure HR inputs are reflected correctly in compensation processes.
Prepare and deliver clear, professional reports and insights to support leadership decisions.
Act as a key contributor to internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and practices are audit ready.
Identify process gaps and inefficiencies, recommending and implementing scalable solutions.
Collaborate globally with HR peers to harmonize processes and practices across locations.
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on policy interpretation, compliance, and procedural steps—serving as a subject matter expert on HR operations.

Qualifications
7+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, HR compliance, or HR project management roles.
Strong understanding of Romanian labor law; EU/international HR experience is a plus.
Track record of owning process execution and leading complex HR initiatives.
Hands-on experience with HR systems like Workday, Charisma, or similar platforms.
Highly organized, analytical, and execution-driven with attention to detail.
Demonstrated ability to manage complex operational workflows, maintain documentation, and drive cross-functional alignment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills in Business English.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, or related field.
