Position Summary:

Reporting to Commercial & Market Access Director. The Market Access & Commercial intern will support local commercial and market access activities for the Ultragenyx portfolio of products and assist in the management of commercial operations and market access in the country. The candidate will work in conjunction with the local Medical Affairs team, Commercial team, Commercial and Market Access and Government Affairs Director and Sr. Product manager. This role will best suit someone who wants to learn about rare diseases business, provide creative ideas, and gain experience while earning their degree.
Work Model:
Remote: Officially documented as working full-time from home, with travel to Ultragenyx’s offices or other locations on occasion as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Support planning and execution of the country’s Commercial and Government Affairs needs, tactics, and activities.
- Support the Commercial and Market Access team to ensure the development and adequate tracking of activities to maximize our opportunities to gain in each key account (e.g., letters to KDMs, coordination of the strategic agenda between KDMs and Vendors, and development of executive summaries or dossiers for public and private accounts).
- Support preparation and follow up of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Commercial/ Market Access
- Data analysis of market research.
- Support the team in daily administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Student of Business Administration, Marketing or Social Communication
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork
- Ability to quickly learn and process information
- Organization and time management skills
- Fluency in English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- The position will be based in CDMX , México
