The IT And Construction Coordination Manager position o ffers remote work flexibility; however, we are seeking candidates located near our offices in Plymouth, MN or Indianapolis, IN. Occasional in-office attendance will be required for training sessions and team-building activities.The Coordination Manager oversees the execution of work orders, provides strategic direction, and drives continuous improvement initiatives within the assigned vertical, adhering to PMO standards and methodologies.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:

  • Strategic Oversight and Improvement:
    • Develop strategies to optimize work order execution processes and enhance operational efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process enhancements and best practices.
    • Ensure alignment with PMO’s project management framework and standards.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Provide leadership and guidance to Service Coordinators and other team members.
    • Handle escalated issues or complex work orders requiring senior-level intervention.
    • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Performance Analysis and Monitoring:
    • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to stay ahead in operations management.
    • Analyze performance metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement.
    • Implement risk management practices to mitigate potential issues.

COMPETENCIES & KEY SKILLS:

  • Extensive Operations Experience:
    • Extensive experience in operations management or a related field.
    • Deep understanding of operational processes and best practices.
    • Familiarity with PMO’s project management standards and methodologies.
  • Strategic Thinking and Decision-Making:
    • Strategic thinking abilities to develop and implement improvement initiatives.
    • Strong decision-making skills to address complex issues and challenges.
    • Ability to align operational strategies with organizational goals.
  • Leadership and Mentorship:
    • Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor Service Coordinators and team members.
    • Deep understanding of operational processes and best practices.
    • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management:
    • Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
    • Proficiency in managing stakeholder expectations and resolving conflicts.
    • Competence in stakeholder engagement and communication strategies.
  • Data Analysis and Process Optimization:
    • Proficiency in data analysis to evaluate performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
    • Experience in implementing process optimization techniques.
  • Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge:
    • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to operations.
    • Ability to ensure operations adhere to safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conducting regular audits and reviews to ensure adherence to quality and compliance standards.

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Three to five years of experience working in a project environment, including relevant industry experience preferably with overall responsibility.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving project issues.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • PMP or Equivalent Professional Certification

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: Full Time, 40 hours per week, plus overtime as needed

TRAVEL: Travel expectation is up to 5%.

SALARY: $60,000 - $70,000 / per year depending upon experience
