Vital Farms

We are a Certified B Corporation offering pasture-raised foods nationwide. We were founded in Austin, Texas, in 2007, and are the leading U.S. brand for pasture-raised eggs and butter by retail dollar sales.

Our product line includes shell eggs, butter, hard-boiled eggs, liquid whole eggs, and ghee. We distribute these to approximately 13,000 stores across the country. We partner with over 250 small family farms, emphasizing humane animal treatment and sustainable farming practices.

We operate under a stakeholder model, considering the long-term benefits for our farmers, suppliers, customers, consumers, communities, the environment, our crew members, and stockholders. We also offer a traceability program, letting consumers trace their egg cartons back to the specific farm where the eggs were laid. We focus on pastured and organic farming, ethical food, animal welfare, and natural food.
