Job description

Noxtua is Europe’s leading sovereign Legal AI. The legally compliant and competent AI helps legal professionals to research legal issues and review, and draft legal documents. The GDPR-compliant Legal AI meets the high professional and data protection requirements for lawyers (Section 203 German Criminal Code, Section 43e German Federal Code for Lawyers) and is certified according to ISO 27001, 9001, 27018, 27017, 42001, and BSI C5. The product version Beck-Noxtua is based on the exclusive data of Germany’s leading legal publisher C.H.Beck and Germany’s largest business law firm CMS.

Emerging from a 2017 research project by Dr. Leif-Nissen Lundbæk and Professor Dr. Michael Huth at Oxford University and Imperial College London, the Berlin-based Legal-Tech company, formerly known as Xayn, boasts extensive experience in developing highly efficient GDPR-compliant AI solutions. Strategic partners, including Germany’s leading legal publisher C.H.Beck, the High-Performance Computing specialist Northern Data, Germany’s largest business law firm and co-initiator of the Legal AI Noxtua CMS, as well as global law firm Dentons, have invested a total of € 80.7 million in the German startup as part of its Series B funding round.

Your Mission

As a Junior PR Manager (m/f/d), you will support the execution of our communications and PR strategy with a strong focus on media relations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, brings fresh ideas, and wants to shape how a Legal AI company communicates with the public, press, and industry stakeholders.

Your Team

The Communications, Marketing & Product team consists of four professionals who collaborate closely to shape the company’s brand, communication, and product strategy. Working in a dynamic and creative environment, the team focuses on developing compelling messaging, enhancing user experience, and strengthening the company’s presence in the legal tech and AI space.

Your Hiring Manager

Your main point of contact will be Clara, Noxtua’s Chief Communications Officer. She leads the company’s communications strategy, media relations, and public affairs efforts. With her extensive experience in international PR and strategic communications, she’ll support your growth while giving you room to contribute and take ownership from day one.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor the media landscape to identify relevant topics, trends, and journalists — and contribute to our editorial planning.

  • Draft and adapt press materials, maintain media lists, and support press outreach efforts.

  • Coordinate and maintain our online press presence, including updating the press section of the website.

  • Prepare communication materials for events, awards, and public appearances

  • Create engaging social media posts, as well as blog articles in German and English, related to tech, AI, and legal topics, aligned with the company’s key messaging.

  • Engage with the community across social media platforms by responding to comments, messages, and fostering discussions to increase engagement.

  • Manage and grow the company’s social media presence, ensuring relevant and meaningful interactions with law firms, legal departments, and tech enthusiasts.

  • Help organize and represent Noxtua at relevant media events and networking opportunities.

  • Contribute to shaping and refining our PR processes as we grow — from documentation to outreach strategies.

  • 2+ years of experience in PR, communications, or a related field — preferably with exposure to tech or startup environments

  • Strong communication skills, a confident appearance, and a diplomatic mindset when dealing with different stakeholders

  • Natural curiosity, proactiveness, and an interest in legal, technological and political developments

  • A hands-on attitude, reliability, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Native-level German (C2) and excellent English skills (C1+); additional European languages are a strong asset

  • A degree in communications, humanities, political science, or a comparable discipline

  • Working hours: Flexible working hours: Full-time (32- 40h/week).

  • Vacation: 26 days + December 24th & 31st off

  • Remote: 100% remote work possible (given a European residence), other countries upon request

  • Discounts: e.g. Urban Sports Club Membership

  • Equipment: Laptop (Lenovo or Mac), second screen, keyboard etc.
