What the role involves:

This is a Fixed Term Contract - September 25 till August 26.

As an experienced Learning & Development Partner, you will support the continued growth of our people and achievement of our long-term vision & goals. This is a broad standalone role that requires a proactive and organized approach.

You will work closely with the People Team and business leaders, when relevant, to identify development needs and provide impactful solutions.

This will be achieved by helping to diagnose, analyze and interpret business needs, and translate them into learning and development programmes that you create and deliver, or source externally.

LMS & Learning Platforms

  • Maintain IOG’s Learning Management System: ADP and the company’s O’Reilly account.
  • Be the LMS administrator, coordinate course sign-up for courses, monitor and report of usage and course completion data.
  • Content Curation: Create and curate monthly content playlists and/or recommended learning resources to support continuous learning across the organization.
  • Monitor the activity and promote the usage of O’Reilly and ADP Learning.

Compliance Training

  • Support the Head of Compliance on organisational training compliance - curate, assign and monitor completion of regulatory and statutory training in a timely fashion.

Career Development

  • Partner with HRBPs to support IOG employees and service providers to have an active GROW plan in Lattice.
  • Support internal mobility as needed.

Leadership and Team Development

  • Design, market, deliver and evaluate the internal Management Moments that Matter program including workshops on coaching and feedback skills and managing remote teams, and more.
  • Facilitate individual, team and group development as required using blended and innovative techniques including as a certified DiSC practitioner, design and delivery of team DiSC workshops.

Performance Management

  • Create and deliver training (Success Meeting skills, Grow, Lattice software); support the People Team as needed in the process.

Other

  • Maintain the L&D Service Desk.
  • Schedule learning sessions and coordinate enrollment as required including vendor & facilitator Management: Source and manage external vendors and facilitators, ensuring high-quality program delivery and effective learning outcomes.
  • Design, deliver and manage the annual Learning at Work Week and other initiatives in support of fostering a culture of learning.
  • Other activities as needed to support IOG’s Learning and Development strategy including evaluating training initiatives’ impact.

Who you are:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent, with further certification in HR or L&D

  • Certified DiSC practitioner

  • High levels of credibility and the ability to build influential relationships with senior stakeholders

  • Excellent communicator & presenter – written and in person

  • Natural problem-solving skills. Analytical & curious with outstanding attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage workload

  • Able to juggle multiple tasks, set own deadlines and deliver against them, including managing and prioritizing conflicting programme timelines

  • Facilitation skills – A confident online and in-person facilitator and presenter. Using adult learning skills to engage, motivate and develop adults through engaging learning activities, discussions and experiences.

  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.

  • A focus on continuous improvement, measuring outcomes based on data, trends, analysis and review.

  • You can manage change and high growth environments - we do not have everything figured out. We are growing rapidly, we expect our processes and ways of work to break, change, need iteration repeatedly and we need you to own, manage and adapt as part of this evolution.

  • An inherent interest in how people development impacts the business and an understanding of that business.

  • Assist in the creation of IO’s L&D strategy.

  • A digital native - (Google docs, G-suite tools, Slack, email, HRIS, L+D platforms, job aide creation, workflow management, project management in Asana and/or Jira etc).
