We’re looking to hire and develop colleagues who are astute, flexible, and always striving to “solve better problems” through thoughtful consideration of individual, team, organizational, and customer impact.

The Lifecycle Marketing Manager reporting to the Director of Audience Engagement, is a customer-centric problem solver directly responsible for executing in-service and post-service marketing strategies that drive retention, engagement, and revenue. How you’ll make an impact:

  • Stay current with industry trends, competitor intelligence, marketing best practices, and emerging technologies.

What you’re great at:

  • Strong data analytical skills and Excel competency to develop actionable strategies.
  • Proficiency in driving engagement metrics throughout the marketing lifecycle.
  • Deep understanding of customer behavior and audience segmentation.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts, language, and processes into easily digestible communications.

What we’re looking for:

  • 4+ years of experience in customer marketing and retention strategy required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline required. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience with marketing automation software: ESPs, CDPs, and CRMs required.
  • Experience delivering multichannel strategies (ex: in-product messaging, email nurture, SMS, website, ads, prompts, etc.) required.
  • Experience with A/B testing and proactively recommending optimizations required.
  • Experience creating content and assets, and knowledge of design principles required.
  • Experience in academic publishing focused on author marketing during the manuscript submission journey is a plus.
  • User experience (UX) and/or design thinking experience is a plus.
  • Experience with customer research, journey mapping, and loyalty programs is a plus.

Our excellent total rewards package includes:

  • A remote workforce with staff based in NY, NJ, CT, MD, VA, PA, MA, RI, or Washington, DC, who meet in person for collaboration, training, strategic planning — and fun!
  • Generous paid time off and paid sick and safe leave
  • Flexible Work Schedule
  • Competitive medical, dental and vision benefits
  • Exceptional retirement benefits
  • Monthly remote stipend
  • Training and Tuition assistance
  • Employee Assistance Program
