Job description

Description de l’entreprise

Born in France in 2006, Voyage Privé has grown from an ambitious startup into becoming the Europe’s leading travel tech platform. Operating across 9 markets with tens of millions of users, we’re not just another e-commerce success story - we’re a tech powerhouse revolutionizing online travel. We have reached this scale by staying fully independent, fully profitable, and with a double-digit growth.

Our ambition is bold: to become a worldwide leader in luxury travel. The road ahead is exciting and complex. We’re replatforming our entire tech stack for this level of scale and impact: hyper-personalized experiences, seamless UX, powerful automation (including LLM-based systems), AI-base forecasting and business decision making, and internal tools that allow us to move faster and smarter. At the same time, we’re upgrading our foundations — with an eye on performance, stability, and long-term product velocity.

What makes Voyage Privé unique is not just the business — it’s the culture.  Our teams operate with speed, ownership, and clarity. We cut through complexity. We focus on outcomes. We move fast, make decisions, and build. We hire people who bring that rare combination: strong technical talent and the mindset to make things happen.

All of this happens from a place unlike any other. Our campus in Aix-en-Provence brings together tech talent, professional athletes, students, and artists in an environment that feels more Silicon Valley than traditional French company. It’s a unique setup — an ecosystem where innovation drives both business growth and positive change, in one of the highest quality-of-life locations in Europe.

Why Join Us?

  • Work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and a mission-driven company, transforming how millions experience travel.

  • Be part of an entrepreneurial team of innovators that isn’t just building technology: we value innovation, ownership, and collaboration, with an emphasis on empowering engineers to make a difference.

  • Shape a fast-growing tech company as we embark on an ambitious plan to scale tenfold in the next decade.

  • Enjoy a workplace that invests in personal and professional development, offering learning programs, mentorship opportunities, and career growth pathways.

Description du poste

The Lead Data Partner (with their team) is the proactive force turning data into decisive action: anticipating insight needs, surfacing growth opportunities, influencing and enabling our teams to think sharper, move faster, and deliver greater impact.

At Voyage Privé, data is at the heart of the digital transformation we are embarking on in 2025. With hundreds of thousands of daily active users and a few thousand new products available each week, data plays a pivotal role in shaping our future.

The Lead Data Partner is responsible for the success, impact, and cohesion of the Data Partners across all business domains. As both a manager and a senior individual contributor, she/he plays a dual role:

  • Amplifying the impact of Data Partners by enabling them to proactively shape decisions, challenge assumptions, and drive business performance within their domains

  • Driving strategic, cross-domain analysis and critical business initiatives in collaboration with the CDO, Head of Analytics & Insights, Product leadership, and other key stakeholders.

The Lead Data Partner sets the strategic bar for what data-driven domain leadership looks like. They define and uphold the standards, expectations, and operating model that enable Data Partners to actively shape roadmaps, influence key decisions, and drive measurable impact. Beyond consistency in metrics, modeling, and analytical workflows, the Lead plays a hands-on role in growing the business acumen, communication strength, and analytical sharpness of each Data Partner.

This role is also hands-on: the Lead Data Partner takes on strategic, transversal, or executive-facing analysis projects where seniority, business judgment, and influence are critical.

Set and raise the bar for domain analytics & insights

  • Define and uphold the vision and standards for how Data Partners drive business impact across domains.

  • Establish expectations for proactive insight generation, decision influence, and domain-level performance support.

  • Ensure alignment with business strategy while challenging assumptions and surfacing new opportunities through data.

Align data strategy with Product and Business needs

  • Serve as a strategic counterpart to product and business leaders, aligning data priorities with roadmap execution.

  • Translate high-level business questions into scalable, structured analytical work across teams.

  • Shape quarterly objectives for the Data Partner function that reflect business impact, team maturity, and growth potential.

Coach and develop high-impact Data Partners

  • Actively coach Data Partners to grow their strategic thinking, domain expertise, and storytelling capabilities.

  • Run regular rituals (1:1s, reviews, cross-domain learning sessions) to develop an ambitious, high-performing analyst community.

  • Drive a culture of accountability, curiosity, and business ownership across the team.

Ensure analytical consistency and model integrity

  • Oversee consistency in KPI definitions, metrics logic, and dashboarding practices across domains.

  • Partner with Analytics Engineers to co-own and evolve the semantic layer and underlying data models.

  • Champion reuse, clarity, and trust in the analytics stack.

Lead strategic, cross-domain analysis

  • Personally own strategic analytics projects that cut across domains or support executive-level initiatives.

  • Act as the ExCom’s analytical partner on high-stakes business questions, surfacing insights that shape roadmap and strategy.

  • Connect insights across domains to reveal patterns, risks, or untapped value.

Reporting & structure

  • Reports to: Head of Data Analytics & Insights

  • Manages: All Data Partners

  • Works with:

  • Analytics Engineers

  • Domain PMs, Engineering Managers, and Business leads

  • Head of Data Science and Head of Data Platform for cross-functional alignment

Success is measured by

  • Business impact delivered by Data Partners in their domains (e.g., measurable influence on roadmap, revenue, efficiency, or user outcomes)

  • Strategic value of cross-domain insights led or driven by the Lead (e.g., decisions enabled, exec alignment, transversal opportunities surfaced)

  • Growth, engagement, and performance of the Data Partner team, including clarity of focus, stakeholder satisfaction

  • Consistency and adoption of shared metrics and dashboards across domains (measured by usage, trust, and reuse)

  • Acceleration of time-to-insight and reduction in duplicated, reactive analysis

  • Perception of the Data Partner function as a critical business enabler, measured through structured stakeholder feedback (e.g., NPS-style, quarterly reviews)

  • Experimentation becomes part of the culture, with Data Partners driving the mindset, quality, and consistency of testing across domains.

Qualifications

Experience & background

  • 7+ years in analytics, data science, or business intelligence roles, with proven success in a fast-paced, cross-functional organization

  • Prior experience managing data analysts or leading analytical teams embedded in product or business functions

  • Experience driving strategic, company-level analysis for senior stakeholders

  • Track record of applying experimentation methods (A/B testing, test design, success metrics) to influence product and business decisions

Analytical & technical skills

  • Advanced proficiency in analytical programming (SQL, Python). and fluency with modern dashboarding tools (Tableau, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of data modeling and ability to collaborate with engineers and analytics engineers

  • Experience defining and operationalizing shared KPI frameworks and semantic layers

Business acumen & communication

  • Ability to quickly understand diverse domain contexts and identify how analytics can unlock value

  • Excellent storytelling and stakeholder management skills—able to influence and challenge at senior levels

  • Ability to coach others on how to translate data into business action

Leadership & mindset

  • Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and pragmatism

  • Structured, driven, and able to manage multiple priorities across teams

  • Passionate about growing people, building clarity, and scaling best practices
