This position is ideal for a customer-centric leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, is comfortable diving into technical projects, and excels at coaching teams toward operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead complex enterprise implementations from kickoff through go-live, ensuring on-time delivery and successful handoff to support and Customer Success.

  • Serve as a technical escalation point for complex implementations, partnering with clients to resolve blockers across APIs, SDKs, and payments workflows.
  • Translate customer use cases into structured implementation plans that align with Spreedly’s product capabilities and roadmap.
  • Develop and iterate implementation playbooks, templates, and onboarding toolkits to drive scalable, repeatable engagements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product and Engineering to provide field feedback, inform delivery timelines, and escalate critical implementation risks.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Consulting to ensure a clean post-sale handoff and alignment on scope, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Track and report on implementation KPIs such as time-to-launch, delivery quality, customer satisfaction, and implementation velocity.
  • Build processes and rituals to drive operational rigor and high-quality customer onboarding experiences.
  • Contribute to internal enablement by documenting best practices and onboarding new team members.
  • Simplify customer questions and disseminate information to current and new customers.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, or integration roles in a payments technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading or mentoring implementation consultants or similar delivery teams in a high-growth or fast-paced setting.
  • Strong technical understanding of web APIs, SDKs, and system integration workflows (especially REST, webhooks, JSON).
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale implementation projects with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Skilled in project management and planning, including risk mitigation and client expectation setting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong ability to interface with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug or advise on common integration challenges.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and confidently, fostering honest and transparent conversations with all stakeholders.
  • Experience distilling complex technical concepts and processes into clear, actionable plans for both customers and internal teams

Additional Skills We Value:
