Job Description
ShortPoint is looking for a technically skilled and detail-oriented Middle QA Automation Engineer to join our international team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the quality of a product used by leading enterprises around the world.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications.
Automate functional, regression, and integration testing.
Work with Playwright, WDIO, and Selenoid.
Write and maintain tests using JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js).
Design and document test cases and test scenarios based on requirements.
Perform API testing (REST/HTTP), including automation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Analyze failures, log defects, and contribute to improved test coverage.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers.

Requirements
Proven experience in web and mobile automation testing.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript and Node.js.
Good understanding of browser behavior, HTTP, and DOM.
Hands-on experience with Playwright, WDIO, and Selenium Webdriver.
Familiarity with Mocha, Chai, Selenoid, and Selenium Grid tools.
Strong skills in test design and writing clear, structured test cases.
Experience in API testing (REST/SOAP/GraphQL).
Experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
Proficient with Git and version control systems.
Comfortable working in distributed teams and meeting deadlines.

Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, distributed team environment.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving mindset.
Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage time efficiently.
