Job description
Salary: P60,000 – P70,000 (Monthly Package)
Schedule: 9:30 PM to 6:30 AM PHT
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of experience in estate planning, elder law, or probate as a paralegal
- Knowledge of North Carolina court filing procedures preferred
- Strong drafting, attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage caseloads independently while collaborating with a small team
- Compassionate and client-centered approach with high ethical standards
- Comfortable handling confidential information with discretion
- Friendly, proactive, and client-focused demeanor
- Experience working remotely with minimal supervision
Nice to have:
- Proficiency with remote tools (Zoom, shared drives, CLIO, WEALTHCOUNSEL, LAWMATICS or equivalent)
What will you do?
- Draft estate planning documents (wills, trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives)in WEALTHCOUNSEL (our drafting system)
- Handle probate and estate administration matters from initial filings to closing
- Prepare court forms, inventories, accountings, and related filings in North Carolina
- Prepare and send engagement letters
- Enter and maintain accurate case information in CLIO (our practice management system)
- Coordinate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and manage case progress
- Track legal deadlines and proactively manage task lists
