About Health Gorilla
We are an interoperability platform that helps you access patient data. As a designated QHIN (Qualified Health Information Network) and QHIO (Qualified Health Information Organization), we facilitate national health information exchange while protecting patient privacy. We provide secure, real-time access to structured health data, which helps EHR vendors, value-based care organizations, and digital health innovators create data-driven workflows. Our national network, infrastructure, and APIs ensure secure patient data access and compliance with frameworks like CalHHS DxF and TEFCA.
Founded in Silicon Valley in 2014, we’ve raised over $80 million. We started aggregating data for diagnostic labs in 2015. We launched FHIR-Based APIs in 2018 and our full interoperability platform in 2020. In 2023, we became the first organization in the U.S. designated as both a QHIN and QHIO. We focus on Healthcare IT, Clinical Networks, Big Data Analytics, and handling data types like DICOM, CCD-A, HIE, TEFCA, FHIR, EHR, Health Records, SDOH, and Pharmacy Data. Our clients include Meditech, Humana, Oscar, Virta, and Cityblock. We’re also working with Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), Value-Based Care (VBC), Electronic Health Records (EHRs), and payers moving into the provider space.
