About Easy Agile

Easy Agile is an Australian founded bootstrapped start-up. We have four products built on top of Atlassian’s flagship product Jira, sold via the Atlassian Marketplace. Profitable from year 1, we are on a truly unique journey with an emphasis on work/family/community/self balance, while growing a high-performing team. Due to our extremely fortunate position, we are driven by giving back to our community and our people - enabling our people to live the lives they only dreamed of.

Our HQ is in Wollongong, but you can find us scattered along the coast anywhere from Brighton to Tweed Heads. We offer flexible working, so you can be based anywhere in Australia! We optimise for collaboration and connection face to face as a team each quarter.

We believe that being agile is a mindset, and that true agility unlocks a team’s potential to be happier at work, have more impact in the solutions they’re building, and be more focused on their customer’s success! That’s why our purpose is to help organisations realise the benefits of being agile. We’re proud to call over 1,900 companies our customers, including Netflix, Harvard, Amazon, Lego, Mercedes and Twitter.

Reporting directly into our Head of People and Culture, you’ll be joining a small but mighty team of 3 and play a key role in helping us grow thoughtfully and nurture a sustainable, people first culture. This role is ideal for a strong mid level people practitioner or someone early in their senior journey- confident owning work, but still keen to grow.

As our People & Talent Partner, you’ll lead the end to end hiring across a variety of roles, act as the go to person for all people related enquiries and partner closely with leaders to shape an environment where people feel connected, capable and confident to do their best work.

You’ll design and deliver meaningful people programs, help us build high trust systems and processes and contribute to initiatives that make working at Easy Agile an experience people feel proud of.

You can be based anywhere along the East Coast of Australia, with access to our office in Wollongong and the opportunity to come together in person at our quarterly team events.

What you’ll do:

  • Own the hiring of our key roles across our business, including partnering with stakeholders, building interview kits, sourcing top talent, interviewing and ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
  • Act as the first point of contact for people related enquiries, ensuring our team has access to the information they need when they need it.
  • Maintain and improve our core people systems (Lever, HiBob, Culture Amp), ensuring data is accurate and our tools are working well for the team.
  • Partner with leaders to support performance, engagement, team dynamics and individual growth.
  • Design and implement people programs aimed at enriching the experience of our Easy Agile team.
  • Help our team build towards achieving excellence.

About you:

  • You’ve worked in a People and Culture generalist role before and know what it takes to support a team across the full employee experience.
  • You’re a people first operator who brings care, curiosity and intention to how you support both team members and candidates.
  • You have a strong understanding of hiring fundamentals and experience running the end to end recruitment process.
  • You’re confident coaching and advising leaders on a range of people topics and know how to tailor your approach to different styles.
  • You have experience owning and improving people operations- from maintaining accurate employee records to refining systems, processes and policies that support a growing team.
  • You’re a systems and tools wiz, especially when it comes to HR tech like Applicant Tracking Systems and HRIS platforms.
  • You love change and have a hunger to grow and learn. Continuous learning is part of your DNA.

We’ll be excited if you:

  • Have exposure to agile ways of working or Atlassian tools.
  • Have experience facilitating workshops, learning programs or coaching.
  • Know how to use people data and analytics to generate insights and help inform decision making.

To support you at work and play, here are the fantastic benefits and perks you’ll enjoy at Easy Agile

  • Flexible working options (because we value outcomes over output).
  • Four paid volunteer days a year to dedicate to your favourite cause.
  • An annual learning allowance of $5,000 to help you up-level your skills.
  • Bi-annual hackathon days to explore new ideas.
  • 2% in additional superannuation contributions per annum.
  • Company-funded parental leave (20 weeks full pay for the primary caregiver and 6 weeks for the secondary caregiver).
  • Summer sessions where you get half days off on Fridays (Dec-Feb) to enjoy the amazing weather as you please.
  • $2000 to put towards your home-office fit out (if you choose to work from home).
  • Quarterly team off-sites to invest in collaboration and connection.
  • Opportunities to travel overseas to conferences to learn more about our customers and agile.

People over perfection

If you are excited about this role but not sure if you meet all of the criteria, please apply. Research shows women and minority groups are less likely to apply for roles where they don’t meet 100% of the criteria. We value punching above our weight and people over perfection, so go ahead and apply - we’d love to hear from you.
