As the People Operations Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact in the People Team for any work-related matters. While you may be explaining policies, resolving cases or supporting a core process on one day, occasionally you may be needed to support organizing an event or support some office activities. This role is broad and can give you exposure to all areas of the People function while also giving you an opportunity to contribute from day one with important deliverables.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide day-to-day support to any employee queries, either pointing them to the information they need or resolving it through our case management system that includes a wide range of people related questions.
  • HR Knowledge - Maintain an understanding of policies, procedures, and regulations that are significant to Human Resources and provide Tier 1 HR policy interpretation when necessary.
  • Maintain our People Systems –maintain all people records, as well as ensure accurate and timely delivery of data to the Payroll team, and for relevant Government/Legal Compliance requirements.
  • Maintain HR documentation – including personnel files both in hard copy and our shared drives and HRIS. Create and distribute documents/letters and take charge of tracking spending against budgets.
  • Support the HR Function – Partner with our teams across the people organisation, to deliver projects, improve processes and drive efficiencies within the function.
  • Help coordinate onboarding for new-joiners, making sure they have everything they need to succeed at Scandit on their first day.

Who You Are:

  • We’re looking for a results oriented person who pays attention to detail. You have to be very structured and able to assist in handling varied volumes of work.
  • Worked with HR data systems, inputting data and maintaining systems, preferably within a  fast-moving company.
  • Driven by results and execution focused, passionate about continuously completing tasks and have a methodical approach even when working under pressure.
  • You are a real people person with the ability to build relationships. A great listener and structured communicator who can deliver “yes” and “nos” almost equally as well.
  • You’re a team player, thrive on working with your colleagues. You’re not afraid to ask for help when you need it and happy to support the team whichever way you can.
  • You remain calm under pressure and stay professional and friendly.
  • You’ll appreciate and understand the need for confidentiality in dealing with any people related activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Business proficiency in English
  • Fluency in French (B2 minimum) and ideally some knowledge of Italian.
