Summary
HR Pros is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their team. This professional will assist physicians in providing treatment to patients with various medical conditions, administer medication, monitor progress, and educate families. They are expected to create and manage treatment plans, evaluate current and future medical needs, and display compassion, education, proficiency, and experience.
Requirements
- Degree with an approved curriculum by the Allied Health Education Program
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a Physical Therapist from any State
- Pass the examination from the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT)
- A minimum of six months of recent medical experience
- Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time
- Ability to push, pull, reach, and bend frequently
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care
- Diagnose movement dysfunction by listening to patients and observing them as they move
- Develop an individualized treatment plan
- Coach patients and teach them therapeutic exercises and stretches to improve their condition
- Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients’ pain, increase mobility, and prevent further injury
