About you

Please note: this role is fully remote but this employee must reside in, and have legal right to work in Hungary.

About the role

Platform Engineering is the function which provides the foundation for the 10x SuperCore providing the runtime environment which abstracts our feature development teams from the underlying infrastructure provision. As a Platform Engineer you will be part of an open, collaborative, and innovative environment and will work on a platform responsible for the money of millions of people. We believe in iterative development and responding to change.

Our tech stack is modern, and we are not shy about using the right tool for each job. Between greenfield product development and raising the bar for existing features, you will have interesting challenges to solve every day.

In our teams, everyone has a voice and is encouraged to be involved at every stage of development of our product, from inception to production.

Our tech stack

  • Golang and Python platform tooling estate
  • Kubernetes, ArgoCD, Docker, Helm, Terraform, AWS, GCP
  • Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL
  • Jenkins, ConcourseCI, SonarQube, Checkmarx
  • Java / Spring Boot / Quarkus microservice estate

Ideally you will have…

  • A deep understanding of good practices in software development
  • A passion for quality and testing best practices
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Kubernetes and Kubernetes Operators
  • Worked on scaled, production systems and services
  • Proficiency in a programming language such as Go or Python
  • An understanding of GitOps methodologies

If you also have experience with any of the following, we’d love to hear from you…

  • Working with multi-cloud use-cases
  • Running Kubernetes on bare metal or outside of public cloud
  • Managing external resources from Kubernetes
