High Tech Genesis is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with 5–10 years of experience to design and deliver data visualizations and interactive dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of connecting to diverse data sources, particularly Databricks and Excel, and be able to translate business needs into impactful visual reports.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop Power BI dashboards by connecting to multiple data sources including Databricks and Excel spreadsheets.
Collaborate closely with business users to gather and understand data visualization requirements.
Present multiple dashboard layout options to stakeholders, iterate based on feedback, and finalize the design.
Ensure dashboards are user-friendly, performance-optimized, and meet business KPIs.
Maintain and enhance existing dashboards as business needs evolve.
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
5–10 years of experience in Power BI development.
Proficiency in data modeling, DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
Experience working with Databricks and Excel as data sources.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Desired skill:
Experience in the Health and Safety and/or Sustainability domains is a strong asset.
