The Pricing Director leads Avetta’s pricing and monetization strategy and execution.  This role drives a consistent approach to pricing and monetization that are designed to influence commercial decisions.

This role will be the competitive pricing intelligence expert, aggregating internal and external sources across geographies and ensuring the optimization of all pricing decision support tools including pricing/revenue analytics, data visualization, discounting analysis, and pricing tool enhancements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Understand competitor and customer market structure and how that influences competitive conduct, and utilize that expertise to make pricing decisions, tailoring strategies to specific needs and value perceptions
  • React efficiently when market and/ or competitive conduct changes
  • Design and align pricing structure to achieve strategic objectives (profitability, market share, vertical penetration, churn reduction)
  • Create and maintain pricing metrics that are aligned to customer value and market conditions
  • Rationalize and standardize potential discounts and rebates
  • Enable sales teams with pricing, packaging and deal strategies

IDEAL EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & EDUCATION:

  • 10 years of overall work experience, including 5 years of experience in software pricing roles (a big plus if experienced in pricing for a 2-sided network model)
  • Additional experience in Product Marketing
  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain complex data-driven models while uncovering areas of improvement
  • Ability to think in principles and frameworks to understand complex, abstract problems combined with advanced communication skills to present findings and influence stakeholders
  • Proficiency with SalesForce CPQ and CRM, as well as other BI and data warehouse tools – able to effortlessly navigate and extract data.
  • A willingness to “roll up your sleeves” and independently perform analysis, build presentations and execute independently on initiatives
  • Degree in Finance or a related field, MBA a plus

At Avetta, we are committed to salary transparency to ensure equitable hiring practices and promote trust. The salary range included in this job posting is based on internal and market data and the role’s responsibilities. The final compensation offered to a candidate will be determined by several factors, including work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $160,000 per year, with a potential bonus.

We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), and PTO.
