About the role
We’re looking for a Principal Frontend Platform Engineer to lead the design, development, and evolution of our frontend platform. In this role, you’ll focus on creating the infrastructure, tools, libraries, and design systems that empower product teams to build high-quality user experiences at scale.You will drive architectural decisions, influence engineering practices across teams, and build systems that promote consistency, scalability, and performance. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about platform thinking, JavaScript/TypeScript, and creating seamless developer experiences.

What you’ll get to do
- Own and evolve the frontend platform, enabling fast, consistent, and high-quality product development across teams.
- Architect and maintain shared tooling, internal libraries, and design systems that promote reuse, performance, and visual consistency.
- Define platform-wide frontend best practices, coding standards, and patterns that elevate code quality and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product engineering, design, and backend teams to ensure cohesive system integration.
- Drive platform initiatives such as monorepo management, CI/CD for frontend, performance tooling, and cross-app theming.
- Identify and remediate technical debt, bottlenecks, and inconsistencies in the frontend ecosystem.
- Mentor engineers and help scale platform knowledge through documentation, pairing, and internal talks.
- Stay ahead of emerging frontend technologies and evaluate their fit within our architecture.
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- 5–7 years of professional experience in frontend or full-stack engineering, with a focus on JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Demonstrated experience designing and leading frontend platform initiatives (component libraries, developer tooling, shared infrastructure).
- Deep knowledge of frontend architecture, module systems, and build tooling (e.g., Webpack, Vite, Turborepo).
- Experience building and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries across multiple teams/products.
- Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, performance optimization, and responsive design.
- Track record of technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
- Clear communicator with the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders.
